PERMACULTURES #10: Josh Love
Josh was selected for The POND AND BEYOND round of residencies.
In a similar vein to amateur car tinkering I'm making the Sinclair C5 into a Transformer robot.
The C5 started its life as a plan for the future in both design and technological concept, now part of its own fiction, the C5 is seen as one of the biggest failures of the 80's. Both the C5 and Transformers were future forward visions of transport and characterised mobility.
In design the C5 looks dated but almost appears dated in the future, I'm working it into the object it should have been. Although Sir Clive might disagree?
