My current practice focuses on systems of contemporary survival and their relationship to performing and performance. Drawings provide a way of working through thematic shifts that are later developed into narrative video works. These videos, all look at how individuals engage in group activities as a way of affirming to themselves that there is something behold the limits of their own bodies. Collaborating with actors, dancers, singers and musicians, the video works re-enact strategies and mechanisms common to television plays, instructional videos and musicals. Recent Exhibitions include One Another’s Company, IMT Gallery, London, 2011 and Bloomberg New Contemporaries, The A Foundation, Liverpool, touring to ICA, London. 2010

I also work collaboratively with Lucy Beech on live works that explore initiations of performance in non-theatrical environments. Recent Performances include 7 Year Itch presented as part of More Soup and Tart, Barbican Theatre, London. 2011 and Holding it Together presented as part of Night and Day, Modern Art Oxford 2010.
