legacy now

Legacy Now is an annual event highlighting the need to safeguard cultural industries as a key element of the Olympic legacy for East London.

The events bring together planners, policy makers and creative practitioners engaged in the cultural future of East London.

They are held to ensure that cultural space is understood, sustained and not lost in the regeneration process and that the Olympics are an opportunity not a threat to East London. SPACE have been organising and running Legacy Now since 2004.
